After a week of hearing the baby being called ‘Sammy,’
John informed his oldest son that the boy’s name was Sam. Dean, standing by his brother’s crib said, “Naaah,
Daddy. He’s Sammy.”
John shook his head and walked out of the room looking
for Mary. He found her out in the
garden.
“Mary! We have
to do something about Dean. Sam won’t
know what he’s supposed to be called.”
Mary laughed and answered her husband, “He will
probably spend more time with Dean then any of us, John. What do you think he’s going to be called?”
In frustration, John Winchester shook his head
again. He bowed his head and then looked
up sheepishly.
“Sammy?”
“Yes, John.
Sammy.”
