I have often wondered about Castiel's true relationship with Dean Winchester. Laran and I played with the idea that Cas was more then just the angel who pulled Dean "out of perdition." What if God, the Father, had chosen Castiel to be Dean's guardian angel from the time he was born. We thought it would interesting, fun, and poignant to see Dean's life through an angel's eyes.
